Freelance photographer Michael Brown says he became a photographer to "search for deeper connections between the world and myself by having and recording life experiences." A native of America's far West, Brown will return next year to the East and continue work on his essay on urban life in an emerging, capitalistic China, entitled "The Great Experiment."
